"The Applicability of Undergraduate Piano Training to Professional Musicians" To date no one has studied the longitudinal applicability of undergraduate piano instruction as it applies to future and current professional musicians. Ultimately, the purpose of this study is to do exactly that: to measure the relevancy of undergraduate piano training to recent music school graduates. This initial project will pilot test the interview questions used to describe the undergraduate training that participants in the longitudinal study receive.
